OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — March 30, 2026 — Berkman Woods, a private equity firm focused on the lower middle market, today announced the formation of its Technology & Innovations group, a dedicated practice that will lead systems, technology, and digital infrastructure initiatives across the firm and its portfolio companies. The new group will be effective April 27, 2026.
Samone Martinez, Vice President, has been named Head of Technology & Innovations. Ms. Martinez has been instrumental in building the firm's internal technology capabilities and will now formalize and expand those efforts across the Berkman Woods portfolio.

The Technology & Innovations group will focus on several key areas across the firm and its portfolio companies, including enterprise resource planning and financial systems implementation, data analytics and business intelligence infrastructure, CRM and sales enablement platforms, process automation and workflow optimization, cybersecurity frameworks and risk management, and the evaluation and deployment of emerging technologies including artificial intelligence.
